Pre-K Kids In The Garden Program (Term 3, 2026) runs from Monday 27 July to Monday 21 September at Australiana Pioneer Village in Wilberforce. This permaculture-based gardening program is designed for Pre-K kids aged 2 - 5 years.
What to Expect
- 9-week seasonal gardening and farm program rooted in permaculture principles.
- Sensory-rich experience nurturing confidence, connection to nature, and gentle farm skills through play.
- Learning in a purpose-built outdoor classroom and bush kitchen within beautiful permaculture gardens.
- Interaction with friendly farm animals and discovery of veggie beds buzzing with bees.
- Hands-on, wholesome learning experiences, including using fresh produce straight from the garden.
Who Should Attend
Pre-K children aged 2-5 years looking for a play-based, nature-connected learning experience in a farm setting.
Practical Information
- Price: $140 per term for the first child, $120 per term for each subsequent child from the same family.
- Classes are held on Mondays from 10 AM to 11 AM.
- Attendees should bring enclosed shoes (gumboots recommended), a water bottle, morning tea, a hat, and optional gardening gloves.
