Pre-K Kids In The Garden Program (Term 4, 2026) is a permaculture-based gardening program for Pre-K kids aged 2-5 years, running from Monday 12 October to Monday 7 December 2026 at Australiana Pioneer Village in Wilberforce.

What to Expect

• A 9-week hands-on, nature-based farm and gardening program created especially for little learners.
• Activities include feeding farm animals, collecting eggs, seasonal gardening, and hands-on nature activities.
• Opportunities for animal cuddles and farm adventures.
• Children will build confidence, curiosity, and a connection with the natural world through play and real permaculture farm experiences.
• Weekly topics cover farm helpers, seed planting, exploring food forests, chick hatching, garden cooling, nature rainbows, dehydrating harvest, good bugs, and festive farm fun.

This program is designed for Pre-K kids aged 2-5 years who are looking for a play-based, nature-connected learning experience on a permaculture farm.

Practical Information

• Price: $140 per term (first child), $120 per term (siblings).
• Time: Mondays 10 AM – 11 AM.
• Participants should bring enclosed shoes (gumboots recommended), a water bottle, morning tea, a hat, and optional gardening gloves.
