About This Event
Garden@Kimbourne Teachables are Permaculture mini-workshops that explore gardening topics, running from July 19 to August 23 at Garden at Kimbourne, Toronto. Garden@Kimbourne is a community garden that uses permaculture principles to grow food and community in Toronto’s east end.

Who Should Attend
This event is open to anyone interested in permaculture, community gardening, and expanding their gardening knowledge. Participants are welcome to drop in for specific workshops or garden sessions.
Practical Information
Workshops are 30-40 minutes long, held every Sunday at 2 PM. Community garden sessions under the “Garden Together” program run on Wednesdays from 6-8 PM and Sundays from 12-2:30 PM.

Teachables Mini-Workshops (Sundays, 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM, July 19 - August 23)
- July 19: Governance Models for Community Gardens as Social Ecosystems, led by Rafael Pascual-Leone of Oakcrest Orchard.
- Other topics include: Growing Together, Companion Planting, Natural Dye & Weaving Using Rainwater, Paper-making with DSV, Introduction to Grafting.
Community Gardening Program (Garden Together)
- Wednesdays: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Sundays: 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM
