Painting Botanical Cast Ornaments from Garden Blooms will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at Toronto Botanical Garden in Toronto.
What to Expect
- Learn to create your own plant-based pigments.
- Paint one-of-a-kind botanical cast ornaments.
- Explore how to create colour pigments from local botanicals such as goldenrod, nettle, and berries.
- Test your plant-based pigments on watercolour paper, including creating a holiday card.
- Choose two plaster miniature botanical casts to paint and take home or gift for the holiday season.
- All materials will be provided.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is intended for ages 16+. Mature youth aged 12+ are welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. No prior experience is required, making it suitable for all skill levels.
Practical Information
The workshop runs from 1 PM to 4 PM. The public ticket price is $115, and TBG Members pay $110 (plus applicable taxes and fees).
