About This Event

The “Gardening Bee: Community Gardening on Campus” is a weekly gardening session taking place on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the ANU Kitchen Garden Plot in Acton, ACT.

What to Expect

  • Help with weeding, planting, seed sowing, and watering
  • Learn about regenerative principles and promoting biodiversity
  • Harvest and share in the garden produce
  • Connect with people and with nature
  • Get fresh air, exercise, and spend time in nature
  • Enjoy snacks from the garden like fresh fruit, veggies, or dip

Who Should Attend

This is a free, social, and relaxed drop-in program for ANU students and staff. No prior gardening experience is needed, as participants will be taught what they need to know.

Practical Information

This is a free, drop-in program. Each session lasts 2 hours and is conducted in person.
