Surround the tree with three clean, concentric circular layers. The innermost layer should consist of warm brown mulch beneath the tree canopy. The next layer should be separated by metal bender board edging and enclosed by a ring of small, neatly clipped boxwoods. These rings should feel formal and symmetrical.
