Botanical Printmaking Workshop

Botanical Printmaking Workshop will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Write253 in Tacoma.

What to Expect

• Learn how to create beautiful botanical prints using oil-based ink
• Be guided through the process of rolling on oil-based ink on plants with a brayer
• Handprint proofs and at least two washi (mulberry paper) prints to take home
• Add color with water-based pigments

Who Should Attend

This workshop is open to all, with no prior experience necessary to be a naturalist and artist. Attendees under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Practical Information

The enrollment fee is $75. Doors open at 9:45 AM, and the workshop runs from 10 AM to 1 PM.
