Who Should Attend

This class is open to the public and is a core component of the South Carolina Native Plant Studies Certificate Program, making it suitable for anyone interested in sustainable landscaping, native plants, and ecological design principles.

Practical Information

This is an 8-hour in-person class. A 10% discount is available for Garden Friends and SCNPS members. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the class will incur a 20% processing fee. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the class will be refunded at the discretion of the SCBG (less a 20% processing fee). Participants should note that some certificate program classes may involve fieldwork on hiking trails of moderate difficulty, requiring good physical condition and sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots.
