Landscape Architecture Merit Badge on September 19, 2026, at The New Weis Center for Education, Arts & Recreation in Ringwood, NJ.

What to Expect

  • Earn the BSA Landscape Architecture Merit Badge.
  • Classes are taught by certified Counselors who are experienced educators, have completed Youth Protection Training, and are Wilderness First Aid certified.
  • Scouts must complete pre-requisites #1 & #5 prior to the in-person class.
  • Parents/leaders are welcome to wait onsite in a breakroom with free Wi-Fi or in outdoor seating areas, with the property adjacent to Norvin Green State Forest for hiking.

Who Should Attend

This class is for Scouts aiming to earn the BSA Landscape Architecture Merit Badge.

Practical Information

  • Duration: 4 hours (1 PM - 5 PM).
  • Doors Open: 12:45 PM.
  • Refund Policy: Cancellations 2 or more weeks in advance are refunded at full price, minus Eventbrite fees. Refunds are not available with less than 2 weeks notice.
  • Scouts must bring physical proof of pre-requisite completion and a signed Blue Card.
  • Scouts must wear their uniform and closed-toe shoes.
  • Cell phones will be collected at the beginning of each class.
