Bonsai Gardening for Beginners will take place on 2026-10-03 at Plants Alive! in Silver Spring.

What to Expect

• Join a fun and interactive session on starting your own bonsai garden
• Cover major styles of bonsai
• Learn plant and container selection, branch and root pruning, wiring, and potting
• Review what type of soil/fertilizer to use for your bonsai as well as regular care and maintenance
• 1 Bonsai starter plant included in a plastic nursery pot
• Additional plants, pots and materials will be available for purchase

Who Should Attend

This interactive workshop is designed for beginners interested in learning the relaxing art of bonsai. Attendees are welcome to bring any bonsai rehabs from home.
