Fall Vegetable Gardening

Fall Vegetable Gardening will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Azalea Lodge at Mead Botanical Garden in Winter Park.

• Learn how to create a successful Florida vegetable garden that produces throughout the Fall season.
• Gain knowledge from Master Gardener Volunteer, Laynie Yip, on gardening specifically in Florida’s fall.
• Discover how to utilize the University of Florida’s resources to grow the food you want to eat.
• Explore the science behind cultivating better, healthier plants and methods for increased yields with less effort.

This class is designed for both seasoned gardeners and those who are just starting out, offering valuable insights for all skill levels.

• Cost: $5 plus Eventbrite fees. Scholarships are available by emailing info@meadgarden.org.
• Program Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM (Doors open at 9:45 AM).
