About This Event
From Soil to Supper: A Florida Raised Bed Gardening Workshop will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the UF/IFAS Extension Putnam Co Auditorium in East Palatka.
What to Expect
- Learn the fundamentals of successful raised bed gardening in Florida.
- Receive a raised garden bed, soil, compost, starter plants, and seeds.
- Get a garden journal worksheet and the UF/IFAS Vegetable Gardening Planting Calendar.
- Leave with the knowledge, materials, and confidence to start your own Florida-friendly garden at home.
Who Should Attend
This hands-on workshop is for individuals ready to grow their own vegetables, herbs, and flowers and who want to learn the basics of raised bed gardening.
Practical Information
- The workshop runs for 3 hours, from 9 AM to 12 PM.
- General admission ticket sales will close 24 hours before the program.
- Refund and cancellation requests must be received 48 hours before the program date. No refunds will be issued after that time.
