These sessions are designed specifically for home educating families with a range of ages and children under 5, with adaptable and collaborative activities for everyone to learn together.

Practical Information

Tickets only need to be booked for children; under 1s are free. The event lasts 2 hours, and refunds are available up to 7 days before the event.

Programme

Every session includes real gardening tasks appropriate to the season. Children will:

  • Sow, plant and grow their own crops
  • Learn how soil works and why it matters
  • Explore composting and sustainability
  • Observe insects and pollinators
  • Harvest and taste produce (when in season!)

We’ll cover key science concepts in an engaging, age-flexible way:

Each block will also include seasonal crafts such as:
