Gardening for Wildlife

The ‘Gardening for Wildlife’ workshop will take place on Saturday 26 September 2026, at the National Trust - Castlefield Viaduct in Manchester.

What to Expect

• Learn about the crucial role pollinators play in our ecosystems.
• Discover how to garden more sustainably.
• Gain simple steps you can take to attract and support wildlife in your garden.
• Explore wildlife-friendly features, habitats, and management strategies used in Plant CIC gardens.
• Workshop led by Plant CIC gardener and nature enthusiast, Andy.
• The workshop will be held outdoors, with overhead cover provided in case of rain.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is suitable for adults and older children. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Practical Information

• Duration: 2 hours (1 PM - 3 PM).
• Please wear weather-appropriate clothing as the workshop is outdoors.
• Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event.
