Gardening for Wellbeing Course (South MCR) is an 8-week course held at The Dandelion Community in Manchester. This program offers nature-based crafts and activities designed to support health and wellbeing.

Who Should Attend
This service is funded by Manchester City Council Public Health and is specifically designed for Manchester residents facing health challenges such as mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress management issues, low confidence, social isolation, low physical activity levels, lack of community connection, disconnection from nature, or bereavement.
Practical Information
- The course is free for eligible Manchester residents.
- Each session is approximately 2 hours long.
- A Sow the City staff member may contact you after booking to complete a short referral form to ensure the best options for your requirements.

- Seed sowing and propagation.
- Natural cosmetics including perfumes and bathbombs.
- Home made lemonade and herbal tea workshops.
- Eco art including, cyanotype and monoprinting.
- Wicker craft (wreath and basket making).
