Open Gardening Day is a recurring event held on Wednesdays and Sundays at ITAL COMMUNITY GARDEN - The Black Gate in London.

• Participate in discussion circles, edutainment activities, and food growing workshops for children.

• Utilise facilities such as a polytunnel, greenhouse, pond, and wildflower bank.

This event is for individuals of all ages and skill levels interested in gardening, community building, food sovereignty, and mental wellbeing, whether you’re looking to learn new skills, meet new people, or find solace in soil.

Practical Information

• Drop in anytime between the hours of 11am - 3pm on Wednesdays and Sundays.
• Compost toilet and summerhouse shelter available on site.
• The garden features wheelchair & raised beds accessible.
• Light refreshments are always to hand.
• Attendees are encouraged to bring a pair of gardening gloves and a reusable water bottle for top-ups.
