Open Gardening Day

Open Gardening Day is a recurring event held on Wednesdays and Sundays at the ITAL COMMUNITY GARDEN- The Black Gate next to in London.

What to Expect

• Join to dig, plant, and share green thumbs with friends old and new.
• Drop in anytime between 11 am - 3 pm on Wednesdays and Sundays.
• Learn new skills, meet new people, or find solace in soil.
• Grow culturally diverse foods, from scotch bonnets to squashes, using a polytunnel and greenhouse.
• Contribute to wildlife with a pond and wildflower bank.
• Participate in discussion circles, edutainment activities, food growing workshops for children, and mental wellbeing sessions.
• Learn to incorporate climate-friendly renewable energy into the green space.
