About This Event
Nature Drawing and Zine Making Workshop takes place on Saturday, June 20 at Camden Art Centre in London.
What to Expect
- Build confidence in drawing and explore the relationship between art and horticulture through plant observation in Camden Art Centre’s garden.
- Artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck will guide participants through drawing with considered prompts.
- Dedicated time for conversation among participants and hand-binding the day’s creations into small art books (zines).
- A curated small library of international zines will be available for consultation throughout the afternoon.
- Enjoy a creative, relaxed, supportive atmosphere with organic herbal tea provided.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is designed for adults and is suitable for those who have not drawn in a long time, as well as those with an established creative practice.
Practical Information
The workshop duration is 3 hours. Please note that there is a no-refund policy.

- Welcome Introduction: With hot tea and sharing of drawing insights by artist Johanna Tagada Hoffbeck.
- Drawing Exploration: Participants will explore drawing through considered prompts.
- Conversation & Binding: Time for conversation among participants and hand-binding creations into small art books (zines).
