About This Event

GreenFingers at Moore Avenue is a regular volunteer gardening group held on multiple dates at the Henry Brown Centre in Bournemouth.

What to Expect

  • Join a friendly volunteer group.
  • Enjoy the outdoors and get involved in practical conservation.
  • Work to renovate the community wildlife garden.
  • Plant wildflowers for pollinators and trees for birds.
  • Tidy the space for ease of access and look after the community food growing space.
  • All equipment for tasks will be provided.

Who Should Attend

Individuals interested in conservation, gardening, and community involvement. No experience is needed. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Practical Information

Participants should wear weather-appropriate clothing which they don’t mind getting dirty and sturdy shoes or boots. Please bring your own gardening gloves if you have them. The event duration is 2 hours. This is an in-person event. For questions, contact Karen at karen@parksfoundation.org.uk.
