About This Event

The Derbyshire Flower & Garden Show returns to Bakewell Showground on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2026 — a two-day celebration of gardening, plants, and outdoor living in the heart of the Peak District. Charlie Dimmock headlines Saturday. Adam Frost headlines Sunday. Between them, four more expert gardeners, a full Garden Theatre programme, plant nurseries, vegetable competitions, artisan food, arts and crafts, and live music.

Star of Ground Force and Garden Rescue, Charlie Dimmock is one of Britain’s most loved gardeners. With decades of hands-on experience, Charlie brings practical advice, planting insights, and real-garden wisdom to the Garden Theatre on Saturday.

Adam Frost · Sunday 30th August

Seven-time RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist and Gardeners’ World presenter. Adam appears on Sunday with a talk and book signing, sharing his naturalistic planting style and sustainability-led design approach.

Jonathan Paul Balchandani (The Bearded Plantaholic) · Sunday 30th August

Award-winning indoor garden designer, RHS speaker, and author of You’re Overwatering It (Penguin Random House, 2026). Live propagation workshop — part science, part storytelling.
