Who Should Attend
This event is open to children who identify their heritage as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or a Child of Colour) and their immediate families/caregivers. White presenting kids with racial heritage and white family members/caregivers are warmly welcomed.
Practical Information
This is a free event; however, registration is required for each adult and child in attendance (excluding babes in arms). Participants who have not registered may be refused access. Parking is free at the VanDusen Botanical Garden parking lot.

- 12:45 PM: Event start and arrival
- 1:00 PM: 45-minute group botanical garden tour
- Post-tour until 7:00 PM: Free time to enjoy the gardens and picnic
