About This Event

The Taringa Community Gardening Bee is a weekly gardening event held every Sunday morning at the Taringa Community Garden & Compost Hub in Toowong.

What to Expect

  • Join the regular gardening bee every Sunday morning
  • Turn some compost and do some planting
  • Meet likeminded neighbours
  • Enjoy a cuppa and a bite to eat after gardening
  • The event typically runs for 3 hours

Who Should Attend

All are welcome to join the gardening bee and connect with community members who share an interest in gardening.

Practical Information

  • It’s free to join
  • Gardening bee start times: 6am in summer, 7am in winter
  • Attendees should bring a hat, sunscreen, closed-in shoes, and water
