About This Event

Gardening Bee: Community Gardening on Campus is a weekly gardening session held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the ANU Kitchen Garden Plot in Acton, ACT.

What to Expect

  • Participate in weeding, planting, seed sowing, and watering activities
  • Learn about regenerative gardening principles and promoting biodiversity
  • Opportunity to harvest and share in garden produce like fresh herbs or veggies
  • Enjoy snacks from the garden, such as fresh fruit or dip

Who Should Attend

This program is for ANU students and staff. No prior gardening knowledge or experience is needed, as participants will be taught what they need to know.

  • What to bring: A hat, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes and shoes (gloves are provided).
