Tour: Toronto Botanical Garden and Edwards Gardens offers guided walks on multiple dates at the Toronto Botanical Garden and Edwards Gardens in Toronto, ON.

What to Expect

  • Tuesday & Saturday mornings (10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.): A 90-minute guided walk through the beautiful TBG themed gardens and Edwards Gardens. Learn about the history of the gardens, plant selection, pollinators, and ecological aspects.
  • Thursday evenings (5:30 to 6:30 p.m.): A 60-minute tour focusing on TBG’s themed gardens. Discover the history of the building and gardens, plant selection, pollinators, and ecological aspects.
  • Tours are led by knowledgeable volunteer guides.
  • Tours take place rain or shine, except in dangerous or severe weather.

Who Should Attend

These tours are designed for individuals or small groups, with a maximum of 15 participants per tour. All interested in learning about the gardens’ history, plants, and ecology are welcome.

Practical Information

  • Price: Adults $15, Students/Seniors (55+) $10 (plus applicable taxes and fees). Supported tickets are available by emailing ProgramSupport@torontobotanicalgarden.ca.
  • Meeting Spot: Outside the main building, The George and Kathy Dembroski Centre for Horticulture, at Toronto Botanical Garden. Check at the Reception Desk if you don’t see your guide.
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 3 days before the event.
  • Accessibility: Please note the terrain is uneven in some areas, with steps and slopes.
  • Pets: Service pets are welcome; other pets should be left at home.
