What to Expect

• Join Blooming Boulevards and CVC for a hands-on workshop to build and plant native garden boxes that support pollinators in Cooksville.
• Learn how these gardens support pollinators and bring more nature into urban spaces.
• Participants will be guided through the process of creating small garden boxes and planting them with native plants.
• Gain practical skills and inspiration to grow more nature in small spaces like patios, courtyards, and shared community areas.
• Jeanne from Blooming Boulevards and the CVC SNAP team will share simple tips and guidance.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is beginner-friendly and open to anyone curious about gardening. Whether you have a balcony, a small yard, or just want to learn something new, you will leave with practical skills and inspiration. This event is part of the Cooksville Sustainable Actions Neighbourhood Plan (SNAP) and everyone is welcome to join.

• Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes (6:30 PM - 8 PM).
• Meeting point: 67 Hillcrest Ave.
• Attendees are encouraged to walk, roll, or take transit; parking is available nearby.
• Washroom amenities will be available.
• Each household in attendance will receive a $10 PRESTO Card, while supplies last.
