The Joy of Botanical Sketching

The Joy of Botanical Sketching is a four-session workshop led by acclaimed Botanical Artist Carol Ann Morley, taking place on Wednesdays from June 3 to June 24, 2026, at Bedrock Gardens in Lee, NH.

What to Expect

• Sketch in the garden and capture the beauty of natural forms.
• Explore the diversity of plant shapes and learn to portray their characteristics.
• Under expert guidance, learn how to begin a sketch and observe angles of leaves and petals.
• Have fun watching your plant portrait come to life and socialize with other artists.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is open to any level of drawing skill. Beginners are particularly encouraged to take all four sessions to benefit fully from Carol Ann Morley’s teaching.

Practical Information

• Member Pricing: $160 for all 4 sessions (with Member Discount Code).
• Non-member Pricing: $200 for all 4 sessions (Option to become a member for $45 to receive member price).
• Participants should bring their own drawing materials (sketchbook, graphite pencils, sharpener, eraser, optional colored pencils/watercolors), a lightweight folding stool, bug juice, water, snacks, walking shoes, and a bagged lunch to each session.
• Designated rain date for each session is the following Thursday.
• Free parking is available.
