Gardening club for home educating families

The Gardening club for home educating families will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Within The Walls Garden Project in Whitwell.

• Practical garden sessions where children can plant, sow, and grow their own crops, tailored to the season.
• Exploration of science concepts including plant life cycles, photosynthesis, soil ecosystems, microorganisms, and biodiversity.
• Creative nature crafts such as botanical art, nature journaling, seed saving, and simple eco-crafts using natural materials.
• Opportunities to observe insects and pollinators, learn about composting, and harvest and taste produce when in season.
